German Marc Forster withdraw 'Social Film Award 09' in the forum dedicated to the rights of children to be held July 12-19 for the seventh edition of the film festival

Forster, who directed 'The Kite' drawn from the bestseller by Khaled Hosseini about friendship of two children in Afghanistan, collect the prize in the 3rd Social Forum Cinema devoted to the rights of the most 'small' Rethinking Children's education 'to be held July 12-19 at 7th Ischia Global Film & Music Fest.

The prestigious award has already been allocated in past years, the Oscar awards Oliver Stone, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Steven Zaillian, Bille August and Vanessa Redgrave.

The director Marc Forster, the German trained in the U.S. but has proved in 2002 with 'Monster's Ball', which earned the Oscar as best actress of the year to Halle Berry. In 2004 he directed two superstelle as Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet in 'Neverland - Un sogno per la vita', giving the OSCE a nomination in the category 'Best Film'. After the film adaptation of 'Hunter kites' (OSCE candidate in 2008 as the best original soundtrack and the 2008 Golden Globe for best soundtrack and best foreign film) was finally consecrated among the most sought after contemporary authors under the direction of '007 - Quantum of Solace 'the series of James Bond with Daniel Craig.

Cinema to the Social Forum with Marc Forster will take part every year as many actors of culture and entertainment internationally (such as Paul Haggis, chairman of the event, Steven Zaillian, Bille August, the Italian Christian De Sica and Mariagrazia Cucinotta and producer Trudie Styler, wife of Sting), which will be confronted with Italian colleagues on topics of general interest such as environment, climate, alternative energies, development of the poorer areas of the world, tolerance and the role they may have in this scenario the international film industry.
