Ischia Global Film & Music Fest - Social Short Cut Contest

SOCIAL CINEMA FORUM
1. The Ischia Global Film & Music Fest launches a comparison between artistic young film-makers from around the world who want to make a contribution to the universe of young people globally, through their engagement in artistic short films and video clips in each format.
2nd Each movie will be viewed and analyzed by the "great masters" of media and communication and the authors of the most significant films will be invited to Ischia (during the Festival scheduled July 12-19) to boost its message of peace and solidarity for all children of the world under the Global Film & Music Fest and compete with the artists to be heard at the 2nd Social Forum Cinema - Rethinking Children Education promoted dall'Accademia International Art Ischia.
3rd The works will be guided by arguments of strong social commitment and contain a clear message of awareness to the problems of world society that violate the human rights of children to education and a future of quality. From humanitarian to environmental factors (poverty, disease, degradation of the planet, the race of nuclear weapons, terrorism of any kind and so upset the future of international society).
4th The movies should have the maximum duration of 5 minutes and may have one or more authors of all ages and nationalities.
5th Each work should be sent - in No 3 DVD copies - no later than June 13, 2008 - Cinema at Social Forum 2009 - Via Rodolfo Lanciani, 74 - 00162 Roma - along with a curriculum inclusive of the address, e-mail and telephone.
6. The movies will be selected no later than June 20 2009 by a jury composed of experts from the world of entertainment and communication.
7th The jury will give its unquestionable assessments to coincide with the opening of the Social Forum Cinema - Sunday 12 July 2009 in Ischia.
8th I8. The selected films will be screened during the event Ischia Global Film & Music Festival and, subsequently, in further sign of appreciation of their work to festivals Capri, Hollywood 2008 (27/31 December) and Los Angeles, Italia 2010 (February 28 ' 10 / 6 March'10).
9th Participation in the project Rethinking Children Education, totally free, implies acceptance of all provisions of this Regulation which can also be found on our website: www.socialcinemaforum.com
