Ischia is the biggest of the islands in the Golf of Naples. It\'s devided in six municipalities, counts about 60.000 habitants and is distant 14,8 km from the main land.

The extention is 46,5 square km and it has a coastline of about 35 km. The climate is typical Mediterranean, even though thanks to the particular geological formation it has a marine climate as well as a hillside and a mountain climate. The island of Ischia is a well-known tourist centre and Ischia Porto is the most important of the six municipalities. Forio, where our hotel is located, is known for the many thermal water sources and you will find the most beautiful beaches on this side of the island. The other municipilaties are Casamicciola, Lacco Ameno, Serrara Fontana and Barano
