The Hotel Carignano, is located about 3,5 Km from the center of Lucca and 4,5 km from the A11 highway exit; close to the city, but at the same time in the tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside. Completely renovated June 2006, it is located near the main art cities like, Pisa, Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano, etc. ideal for your Tuscan vacation as well as for business travel. You can relax after a long day in our spacious rooms, on the terrace or by the pool in the hotel's gardens and perhaps dine with some good Tuscan cuisine.

Our Hotel is particularly suited for sports tourism, Trekking in Garfagnana and the Apennines mountains, cycling on Lucca hills, by the river or in the mountains. Our Restaurant The Cantina di Carignano was an old mail station where horses and carriages stopped during their journeys along the dusty roads between tuscan towns. For 4 generations, the same family has managed this restaurant and proposes typical dishes from the Lucca tradition such as the Farro soup, home-made Lucca ravioli, locally grown olives, lardo di Colonnata, the famous fiorentina beefsteak cooked over charcoal and the traditional Lucca vegetables pies with becchi which are some of the specialties. In the summer it is possible to dine on the terrace by candlelight. It is possibile to book for groups and banquets up to 300 persons.

A valid credit card is necessary to make a reservation. The card will not be charged unless the reservation were to be cancelled within 3 days prior to arrival or in case of no show. In both cases 1 night will be charged. Upon reservation the provided credit card will be validated (authorization will be required) against the value of 1 night. In case authorization were not to be granted the reservation will be cancelled.
